Black Bakelite and Brass Vintage Stretch Bracelet

I’m loving this abstract stretch vintage Bakelite bangle bracelet. It’s I’ll both simple and bold, made with 12 shards of authentic polished black Bakelite shards that are 68mm/2.25” wide and 18mm/5/8” thick. The shards are linked together with 2 smooth, shiny, polished brass beads nestled in between each two shards. The inner circumference of the bangle bracelet (not at all stretched) measures in at 7”, it’s inner diameter is 2” (not stretched) but would easily stretch to fit those with wrist sizes 9” or more. Total weight of the bracelet is 97 grams/3.4 oz.

This is a striking piece that would glam up any outfit and is most definitely a conversation starter. In all my time of researching jewelry and other collectibles it is seldom I find a piece that I cannot locate another piece at least very similar to it if not (more often than not) exactly like it. This Bakelite bracelet is one of those rare pieces.
